Headquartered in Markham, Ontario, we provide telecommunications and related services to Canadian and foreign customers. Our services are provided to enterprise customers, including other carriers, and we also provide certain mobile services to individual retail customers.

Identity Information

  • Personal Information collected: name, billing and mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth, education institution information, payment information (including credit card and debit card information and/or banking information), and credit information.
  • Purposes: To provide services to you to fulfill our contract with you, process payment information, process service orders and provide order confirmations, communicate with you about account-related items, arrange for invoices and billing, screen orders for potential risk or fraud, inform you of any new promotions and services offered, provide notifications regarding service changes or outages, and to improve service offerings.

Subscriber Data

  • Personal Information collected: Information about the amount of use of telecommunications services you purchase, how you purchase and use those services, and related billing and end user information. For billing purposes, our service provider will collect records of the services you use, such as telephone numbers, times, dates, and durations of incoming and outgoing cellular calls, and data usage.
  • Purposes: To provide services to you to fulfill our contract with you, to administer our services, to improve our level of service, and for billing purposes.

Website and Mobile Browsing

  • Personal Information collected: Traffic and usage data, geolocation data (such as precise location information from your device or generated based on IP address), and details of transactions you carry out through our websites and the fulfillment of your orders for our services.
  • Purposes: To allow for the effective loading and navigation of our website, to diagnose problems with our servers and administer our websites, to perform analytics on Site usage (including to determine demographic information, interests and behaviour), to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations, products, services and programs in accordance with customer preferences.

Customer Support Information

  • Personal Information collected: Name, email address, phone number, and records of date and time of contact.
  • Purposes: To respond to your inquiries, complaints or requests for customer service, and provide notifications regarding service changes or outages.

Online Activity Tracking

Cookies. “Cookies” are text files, which may be encrypted, containing small amounts of information that a server may download to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website, use an application, or access an advertisement or widget on a website. When you return to a website, your browser retrieves and sends the information in the cookie to the website’s server. Please note that when you opt-out of receiving interest-based advertisements, this does not mean you will no longer see advertisements from us or on our online services. It means that the online ads that you do see from DAA program participants should not be based on your interests. We are not responsible for the effectiveness of, or compliance with, any third-parties’ opt-out options or programs or the accuracy of their statements regarding their programs. Our websites do not target and are not intended for use by children under the age of 13.We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

Data Protection and Security

We have implemented physical, technical, contractual and organizational safeguards in an effort to protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure.
